32nd North Face Explorer Scout Unit
Snowsports @ Cairngorms
A 5 am start didn't deter the 32NFESU on on the Cairngorm slopes. Some explorers took snowboard lessons, some improved their skiing and boarding skills on the green / blue pistes. The others just showed off on the black pistes and jumps. The alpine conditions made for a great day with plentiful fresh powder and all runs open.
Night Snow Hike
On Friday the 32nd North Face Explorer Scout Unit hiked over to Everton on a night hike from the Waterman’s Cottage. Skating over icy roads they made it to Everton just after 1.00 am. Explorer Scouts camped overnight to be ready for 1st of the Everton Development Mission Days.
Community Engagement

On Sunday Explorer Scouts from several units attended Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Station at Greenock to take part in an event to support the Anthony Nolan Trust. Some Explorers enjoyed a boat ride from the emergency services as a ‘thanks’ for their attendance.
